Dr. Easter graduated from Bastyr University with a doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. She is trained as a primary care physician and currently practices family medicine. Bastyr University's Naturopathic Medicine program requires two years of science courses and two years of clinical courses including cardiology, endocrinology, gynecology, geriatrics, and pediatrics. The program also requires training in nutrition, counseling, physical medicine, botanical medicine, and homeopathy. Conventional medicine is also represented in the coursework such as pharmacology and diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Easter also holds a bachelor's degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Washington. Her background in science attracted her to pursue a career in natural medicine at Bastyr.
